Paulette was my manager for many years at the MN BCA. She was supportive, kind and fair. A true leader who advocated for her staff. We were employee and manager but also friends. I will always remember her for her grace, integrity and intelligence.

I will always love her..

It was a privilege to know Paulette and to work for her at the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, where she managed software developers and Quality Assurance analysts. Paulette hired me in 2001 and we got along really well from the start. She was smart and fair and very savvy about life and work. We had countless good discussions. After she returned to work after having a stroke, it was a pleasure to be of some assistance to her. A truly great boss who appreciated honesty and kindness. She will be missed.

I met Paulette back around 1969 and our friendship lasted over 50 years. She was my sister and my one of my closest friend. We often talked over the phone and we would laugh and talk about everything… we shared our thoughts and feelings about our lives and how much fun we had together. It broke my heart when I got the call that she had passed on… we had plans to get together for her birthday. She knew my family and she was loved by everyone. My daughters called her Ms.Paulette. Paulette will live on in my memory forever. Her dearest friend always, Harriette Buford Moody

Paulette was my boss for a few years in 2 or 3 of my many moves at the BCA and can say I enjoyed our meetings, sometimes impromptu, sometimes planned but always left me with a story or two. She loved to talk about her family and I appreciated her humor. The last time she called me after her retirement she accidentally dialed me but we laughed at many old times but "she had to get going". To her family and friends I offer you my deepest sympathies and condolences. May God lift you all up with her memories, love and her lifes stories.

My sister sister since I was 12 years old at the St Brendan drum corps. Oh I loved her sister too which she was kind to me too but Paulette never judged me but understood me. When I got pregnant at an early age age, she comforted me. When my mother died she did the same, saying you did the best you could. I would always ride up to see you and we go to the show, eating etc. I will always love and keep you in my heart. It’s not goodbye it’s see you on the other side 🙏🫂

My mom would always look on the bright side of things. Everyone always told me anytime anything wouldnt go right she would always have a positive attitude about it. And i always saw that my whole life. She was always very unbiased and that spread over to me from her. We always have fun road trips together and had the same sense of humor that i will miss about her as well as alot of other things. I wish i could hear her voice again. I along with many others will miss her deeply.
